Botho Cochois is a sound artist, audio programmer and machine learning engineer based in Graz / Berlin. He currently studies audio technology and besides generative approaches, his body of work explores and portrays the impact of layered drone scapes, subtle textural shifts and manipulated field recordings. Alongside exhibitions in public space, his compositions and installative works have been presented at Humboldt Forum Berlin, Documenta Fifteen and the Centre for immersive Media art, Music and Technology in Leipzig.
